Birmingham Friends of the Earth: Then and Now – 40 Years at The Warehouse

Join us as we delve into the archives to explore the history of Birmingham Friends of the Earth and ‘The Warehouse’. This film features the early days of Push Bikes Birmingham Cycling Campaign Page and The Wildlife Trust for Birmingham and the Black Country’s predecessor, the ‘Urban Wildlife Group’.

The film was produced as part of a Heritage Lottery Fund supported project to mark 40 Years since Birmingham Friends of the Earth first took on the lease of ‘The Warehouse’ in Digbeth.

Breaking the Silence

This film features testimonies of survivors of genocidal rape and was produced for Remembering Srebrenica.  The Charity is encouraging the public to ‘Break the Silence’ on violence against women and girls, and has used these powerful stories to highlight just how important it is to speak out against such extreme violence and hatred.
